2008 Goodfellow AFB Airshow Performers Page
Liberty Jump Team
Liberty Jump Team Inc. is a civilian commemorative static line jump team.  Their mission is to keep the memory alive of Veterans of World War II as well as all vets of other Foreign Wars through their jumps.  This is done through the volunteer time and resources of a dedicated group of individuals.  Our members are predominantly from  current, retired, or reserve US or Foreign military services.  They come from all over the US and Europe.  The jumps are performed using various vintage C-47 aircraft as well as round canopy military style parachutes.    The Liberty Jump Team has performed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina and Washington, DC as well as in Normandy, France, in Belgium, and Holland.   Their base of operations is Bristow, Oklahoma and they are proud to have the opportunity to share their time and knowledge with the public so that none of us will ever forget the sacrifice of our service men and women of both past and the present.

The Liberty Jump Team Inc. will jump America's largest FLAG PARACHUTE during the opening cermonies of the Goodfellow AFB Air Fiesta 08 airshow in San Angelo.  The 288 Square Feet, 9 cell ramair parachute canopy is flown by combat wounded Vietnam Veteran Airborne Ranger Dallas Wittgenfeld.
